William J. Wahl Sr. ("Bill") St. Louis, Missouri August 26, 1953 - November 3, 2025 William J. Wahl Sr., affectionately known as Bill, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2025, in his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri, at the age of 72. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert J. Wahl Sr and Zelda L. Wahl. Born and raised in St. Louis, Bill was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend. He is survived by his beloved wife, Carolyn Wahl; his sons, William (Bill) J. Wahl Jr. and James (Jim) R. Wahl; and his siblings, Robert (Melanie) Wahl Jr, Mary (David) Rosenow, and Barbara (Craig) Ackerman. Bill was also a cherished brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin, and neighbor - known for his generosity, warmth, and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Bill dedicated over 30 years of service as a proud Chrysler UAW worker, embodying the values of hard work and loyalty. Outside of work, he gave his time and heart as a Special Olympics coach, inspiring athletes and families with his kindness and encouragement. A lifelong fan of The Beatles, Bill found joy in music, motorcycles, and vintage guitars. His passion for life was matched only by his love for those around him. Bill's legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched with his humor, compassion, and unwavering spirit. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
