William (Bill) O. Kjellesvik of Morris, IL passed away in his home in High Ridge, MO on Thursday, March 16 2017. He was born to William & Delphine (West) Kjellesvik of Morris, IL on Feb. 6, 1954. On June 14, 1975, he married Frances M. Forney; a marriage that lasted Bill's entire life. Together they had two sons, Tim and Andy. Tim and his wife Bethany (Fuller) bore him two grandchildren who were his delight; Sofia and Beau. Bill was proud that Andy recently completed an accelerated Bachelors of Nursing program from Goldfarb School of nursing and began working as a registered nurse. Bill is survived by three sisters, Karen Keating, Jody Guske and Brenda Leake along with beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. Though Bill resided in Missouri, his heart remained in Ottawa, IL where he fished the Illinois and Fox rivers for walleye and sauger. He was revered by fellow anglers and feared by fish. A union carpenter his entire adult life, his work as a skilled tradesman was known by many, as was his sense of humor on the job site. He leaves behind a legacy of devotion to his family and friends as well as a passion for the outdoors. The hearts he touched during the course of this life are broken as we mourn his passing. Whether you knew him as Dad, Husband, Brother, Friend, Papa, Cousin, or Uncle, your grief is founded. Bill's departure leaves a massive wake in our lives. Visitation and a memorial service will be held at New Hope Fellowship at 5919 Antire Rd, High Ridge, MO 63049 on Tuesday, March 21 from 2-5 pm. Memorials may be directed to his family.
