William "Bill" Delbert Perkins (81); Bill was born on March 18th, 1938, in St. Louis Mo. and passed away December 4th, 2019, in Dexter Mo. after a long fight with lung disease.; Bill was the son of Daniel and Marie (Heil) Perkins. he is survived by 9 children, Virginia Kuelker, Kelly Henley, William "Bill" Perkins Jr, Cathy Perkins, Chris (Teresa) Perkins, Patrick Perkins, Edward (Angie) Perkins, Shawn (Kim) Perkins, and Dawn (Kevin) Steinmeyer. He was the Grandfather of 25 and Great-Grandfather of 17 and Uncle to many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his sister Mary Francis Perkins. He was proceeded in death by his parents and 6 siblings, sisters Patricia Walls, Delores Bidondo, Dorothy "Dottie" Miller and brothers Robert "Bob" Perkins, Daniel "Dan" Perkins, and Fredrick "Fred" Perkins.; Bill was a US Navy Veteran and enlisted in 1955 days after his 17th birthday. His proudest time serving was aboard the USS Yorktown. After the Navy, he became a nurse and worked and worked for years as an operating room nurse at facilities across the country. One of his favorite places he worked was at the Deborah Heart and Lung Center in New Jersey.; Some of the things he enjoyed most throughout his life was playing golf, dancing, and traveling. He also enjoyed watching TV and music, specifically classical and opera and was known to torture his children by signing.: Bill spent 15 of the last 17 years of his life with the "Love of his Life" Lucy England. After her passing in 2017 Bill lived most of his remaining time with her granddaughter Jeannie Kay Jones and her family who he thought of as family
