Virginia Lee (nee Hoeynck) Swierk, age 80, passed to eternal peace on August 23, 2018. Dearest daughter of the late Lee Edward Hoeynck, Sr. and Ellen (nee Weidner) Hoeynck, and sister of the late Lee Edward (Suzy) Hoeynck, Jr. Devoted wife of Ronald Joseph Swierk, Sr. Dearest mother of Ronald J. (Beth) Swierk, Jr., Michael (Jill) Swierk, Andrew Swierk, Kathy (Pat) Baker, and Paul (Elaine) Swierk. Loving grandmother of Brea (Jeff) Gile, Christopher (Susan) Swierk, Jason (Nicki) Reinhardt-Swierk, Paige (Doug) Braithwaite, Steven Swierk, Jared Swierk, Emily Baker and Allison Baker. Proud great grandmother of Zachary Braithwaite. Virginia devoted her life to her husband, children, and grandchildren. She and her spouse were heavily involved in Scouts with their children. She is known for her contagious laugh and jovial attitude and was easy to love and great company to have around. She was known for her delicious meals and beautiful home-made crocheted afghans.
