Virginia Lee Goede (Breville) was born on July 5, 1934, in Fenton, Missouri, and passed away peacefully on March 20, 2026, at Garden View Care Center.

A lifelong resident of Fenton, Missouri, she lived on the same piece of land her entire life.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Stanley Breville and Mary Virginia Murray and her husband Lionel J. Goede.

Ginny is survived by sons, Gary Goede (Donna) and Wayne Goede (Julie); three grandchildren, Heather Gander (Scott), Kelly Dunn (Steven), and James Goede; nine great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter; and many friends, family and associates.

She had worked for Commerce Bank for many years and then became co-owner of The Jewelry Connection, Inc. in Fenton.

Ginny was instrumental in starting the St. Clare Hospital Auxiliary and served as President for ten years. She was an active member of the Fenton Chamber of Commerce and the Fenton Historical Society. She was a member of the Ballwin Chapter Order of the Eastern Star and many other Masonic affiliated organizations. She was the local Bethel Guardian of Bethel 43 Job's Daughter International and had served the State of Missouri as Grand Guardian and Grand Secretary for many years.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 23, 2026, from 4-8PM with an Eastern Star Service at 7PM, at Jay B. Smith Funeral Home in Fenton. Funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 10AM, also at the funeral home.

Interment will be with her husband at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests gifts to Hearing Improvement Kids Empowerment Fund, Inc. (HIKE Fund Inc.) or Open Door Animal Sanctuary.
