Thomas Edward Harman, 100, died peacefully on Saturday, January 4, 2025, surrounded by family in Maplewood, Missouri. Thomas, born on July 28, 1924 in St Louis, Missouri, was the son of Robert and Lela Harman. He was proceeded in death by his parents, his brother, Robert Harman and his son-in-law, Jim Sandberg. Tom was a World War II veteran, serving in the United States Army and, after military service, he became a letter carrier. Tom was part of the Knot Hole Gang at Sportsman Park, he was a Shamrock Athletic Club Member, and he played softball, soccer and other sports. Tom was a member of the Letter Carriers Union and treasurer for the Political Action Fund for many years, meeting every Democratic President up to Barack Obama. Tom liked to tinker and repair things and was known as Mr. Fix It. He loved playing with his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Tom is survived by his wife Evalee Estel Harman, and his children, Patricia L. Sandberg, Linda J. Harman, Thomas E. Harman (Becky), and Daniel J. Harman (Susan).
