Theodore E. (Ted) Nieman, Jr. Born November 15,1951 in St Louis, MO. Died September 8, 2024 at his home in Fenton, MO at 72 years. Parents Theodore E (Ted) Nieman, Sr and Audrey M (Gendron) Nieman preceded him in death. Survived by siblings Thomas J (LeeAnn) and Susan G Nieman and Christine Lytle; by children Heather (Mark) Lewis and Christopher (Sam Kelley) Olson; by special nephew Benjamin Nieman; by several grandchildren including Emily Hayes; and by longtime friend Bobby Williams. Ted was a motorhead from a young age, growing from plastic models to hotrods to classic cars to die cast models. While he did not do well with traditional education, he had a high level of mechanical intelligence. He called himself a shade tree mechanic. He worked numerous jobs, most related to mechanics of some sort. He liked fishing, trains, the Old West, history, collecting all kinds of things and having friends. He could and would talk to anyone and everyone. Many of his friendships lasted for decades. Visitation will be on Saturday, September 14, 2024 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Jay B.
