Step-mother of Tammy (Russ) Magruder and Kelly (Thomas) Grimm. Cherished grandmother of Ariel, Jaden, Jace, Derek, Steven, Jeffrey, Jennifer, Luke, Jordan, Alec, Ashleigh, Savannah and Tommy. Great-grandmother of Kaylee, Ava, Chloe, Landon, Jasmine and Elijah. Dear sister of the late Connie Phillips. Sylvia was a mother-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, counselor to many and friend to all. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Jay B. Smith Funeral Home, 777 Oakwood Dr., Fenton, MO. Service will follow at 12:00pm at Jay B. Smith Funeral Home. Interment, Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Belleville, IL.
