Obituary

Susan Parker (nee Krekel) went on to rest in heaven's glory on the 6th of December. Sue was born to Alfred and Charlene Krekel in 1959, the youngest of her sisters, she also had one younger brother. Sue met her soulmate Chris D. Parker at the age of nineteen and soon after became a loving wife, best friend and the glue that held everything together for almost 40 years until his passing. Preceded in death by her loving husband Chris D. Parker, parents Alfred Krekel, Charlene Krekel, her sister Brenda Krekel, her brother Jeff Krekel, and her in-laws Clarence and Mary Parker. Full of life, Sue was over the moon to start her own family and become a mother, step- mother and grandmother to Jackie Lubitz, Chris Jr. (Cheryl) Parker, Scott (Laura) Parker, Doug (Ashley) Parker, and Mike Parker. Fun loving and adored by all but made you mind your P's and Q's maw-maw to Trenton, Skylar, Hunter, Carson, Sawyer, Madilynn, Noah, and Emma. Dependable, loyal and life of the party as her laughter could be heard from miles away by her sisters, sisters-in-law, cousins, friends, and neighbors. Sue loved all aspects of outdoor living that included being one with nature and the world around her. Some of her favorite activities were sitting in a lawn chair drinking sweet tea with family and friends, being in a flowing river waist deep, hiking with her husband, antiquing, boating, and on the open road sightseeing. She loved animals and had dogs most of her life. She was a proud woman who was bursting with love and life knowing that her children grew up to become successful, loving and caring to all. Sue will be deeply missed and treasured forever, especially on her favorite holiday Thanksgiving, no stuffing can compare. "May you walk in sunshine!"
