Steven J. Mullins of High Ridge Missouri died March 25, 2026, at his home. Steve was born on March 27, 1958, in Kirkwood, Missouri.
Steven was a long-time resident of Fenton Missouri, growing up on Yarnell on the banks of the Meramec River. Steven was a very proud graduate of Eureka High School where he excelled academically and in sports. After High School he began a career in the oil rigs of Oklahoma. Under the direction of an uncle, alongside his brother and good friend they made up the Show Me Crew on Eagle drilling rig #3. The only Missouri crew in Oklahoma. Upon returning to Missouri Steven became a heavy machinery operator and mechanic. Stevens' true passions in life beyond family were hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting, arrowhead hunting, watching football, and collecting rocks. He also enjoyed gardening and cultivating his favorite herb while listening to KSHE95.
Steven is survived by his 5 children: Jenie (Roger McCallister) Mullins, Triston Herrington, Zackary Steven (Ashley) Mullins and Joshua (Kara Johnston) Mullins, and Sissy Sister Mullins (his beloved furbaby). 11 grandchildren: Wade, Braeden, Austin, Morgan, Trenton, Jordan, Haley, Katelyn, Zaedyn, Abby, and Koltyn. 3 brothers: Tom (Penny) Mullins, Bob (Sally) Mullins, Ed (Kari Richardson) Mullins. Many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. And a very special friend Terri Lynn Conway "Jackman". Steven is proceeded in death by his Mother Bertha Opaline Mullins (James) , Father James Stokley Mullins and many aunts, uncles, cousins,
