Stanley James Douglas, 94, passed away on January 20, 2026, in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born on May 18, 1931, in Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland to Jeremiah and Bridget (nee Magee) Douglas.

Stanley is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 68 years, Eileen (nee Kehoe); sister, Colette Douglas; and brother, Desmond Douglas (Adrienne).

Stanley is survived by his children, Alan Douglas and Colette Eaton; grandchildren, Connor Douglas, Samuel Eaton, and Sydney Eaton; sister, Pat Keenan (Joe); a niece and nephews.

Stanley was an avid fisherman who loved being out on a lake in a boat. He loved animals and could often be found in his yard in Florida feeding cows and goats at the fence of the farm next door.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 1:30PM at Jay B. Smith Funeral Home in Fenton, followed by a memorial service at 2PM.

Memorial donations can be made in Stanley's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
