Sheila Darlene Couch (nee Allen), passed away peacefully on August 15, 2022. The cause was due to complications stemming from diabetes. She was 75 years old. Sheila graduated from Riverview Gardens High School, and retired from the Union Pacific Railroad. She loved to laugh and make others laugh with her. In fact she was a bit of a "class clown". She loved animals, especially her cats! She loved scrapbooking and the St. Louis Cardinals. Sheila was part of a diverse St. Louis Deaf community as well as an active member of a loving fellowship at her church. Besides many friends, she is survived by her 95 year old mother, Sylvia Allen, sister Katherine, brothers Ken Allen and Steve Allen… nieces Katy Rhodes and Kristen Pritchett and 6 grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Allen and dear nephew Kenneth Allen, III. A celebration will be held for her at the Jay B. Smith Funeral Home, 777 Oakwood Dr, Fenton, MO 63026 on Saturday, August 20. (there will be no viewing). Family: 3-4, friends and family 4-7, with testimonials from her pastor and family at 6. Any donations can be made in Sheila's name to a charity of your choosing. May her memory be a blessing. May she joyously dance in the cosmic dust with her two kitties.
