Shawn Michael Scott, 20, passed away on December 24, 2025. He was born on December 8, 2005.

Shawn was a free spirit whose life was defined by love, curiosity, and a deep appreciation for the world around him. He found joy in all things outdoors, especially fishing, and loved spending time outside whenever he could. He had a passion for basketball, cars, skateboarding, music, video games, and cheering on the Cardinals. Shawn was happiest when surrounded by friends and family, creating memories and sharing laughter.

Above all else, Shawn's greatest joy and proudest role was being a father. He deeply loved spending time with his daughter, Ariella, and treasured every moment with her. His love for her was evident to everyone who knew him.

In recent months, Shawn began attending church and focusing on building a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This journey of faith became an important and meaningful part of his life.

Shawn will be remembered for his kind heart, adventurous spirit, and the love he carried for those closest to him. His presence brought light to the lives of many, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A visitation will be held from 4-7PM on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Jay B. Smith Funeral Home in Fenton. Funeral Services will be held at 10AM on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Jay B. Smith Funeral Home in Fenton with burial to follow at Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart, under the direction of Jay B. Smith Funeral Home.
