Sandra Joy Winder, born March 29, 1946, in Independence, Missouri, was the daughter of the late Howard and Agnes Hines.

Sandra earned her high school diploma from Ft. Osage High School and went on to receive her Master's degree in Social Work from Saint Louis University in 1988. She devoted her professional life to helping others as a Clinical Case Manager and Social Worker, and she also taught at the University of Kansas, supporting the Field Practicum education of social work students.

Sandra was preceded in death by her beloved daughters, Robin Winder and Deanna Winder, as well as her parents, Howard and Agnes Hines.

She is survived by her brother, Gary (Shelly) Hines, her sons, Troy Winder and Todd (Sarah) Winder; and five cherished grandchildren.

Sandra found joy in traveling and ballroom dancing, and nothing meant more to her than her children and grandchildren. Her compassion, guidance, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
