Rudolph (Rudy) Helwick III Mr. Helwick passed peacefully in his sleep into the Lord's arms at his home on July 10, 2024. He was born Februry 7, 1945 in New Orleans to Margaret May Crosby and Rudolph Helwick Jr. Mr. Helwick is survived by his spouse, PJ Helwick, his son Rudolph (Rudy) Helwick IV (Megan), his daughter Laura Steiner (Jesse), and 3 grandchildren: Luke Steiner, Marlee Steiner, and Rudolph (Rudy) Helwick V. Rudy was proud of his family, and liked to keep up with the grades and sports activities of his grandchildren. He retired from Unysis Corporation working at DMA in St. Louis for over 35 years. Rudy participated in the MS150 in 1999 with the Wildhorse Creek Bicycle Club. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many and will be missed by all. Memorial Gathering will be held from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Friday, July 26, 2024 at Jay b. Smith Funeral Home, 777 Oakwood Dr. Fenton, MO. 63026. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
