Ronald Joseph Swierk, age 81 Passed to eternal peace on December 6, 2018. Dearest son of the late Joseph and Ruth Swierk (nee Kiwala) Devoted husband of the late Virginia Lee Swierk (Hoeynck). Dearest father of Ronald J. Swierk, Jr. (Beth), Michael Swierk (Jill), Andrew Swierk, Kathy Baker (Pat), and Paul Swierk (Elaine). Loving grandfather of Brea Gile (Jeff), Christopher Swierk (Susan), Jason Reinhardt-Swierk (Nicki), Paige Braithwaite (Doug), Steven Swierk, Jared Swierk, Emily Baker, Allison Baker. Proud great grandfather of Zachary Braithwaite. Dear brother of Roger Swierk (Lois), Walter J. Kiwala III, and the late Robert Swierk(Barb) Ron devoted life to to his wife and children. He had numerous hobbies that kept him busy and happy. He loved to fish, hunt, and cook. He was heavily involved in Scouts with his children, being a Scout and Cub Master. Ron served and was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was an avid collector of many items such as coins, die cast hot wheel cars, guns, rifles, fishing reels, and knives.
