Ronald "Ron" Blanner, 71, passed away at home on Friday September 6, 2019 in High Ridge, Missouri. He was born January 19, 1948 to Elmer and Valeria (Wallach) Blanner in St. Louis, Missouri. On June 2, 1978 he married Joan Townsend in St. Louis, Missouri. Ron enjoyed making Home improvements, watching Blues hockey & Cardinals baseball games and spending time with family. Ron was a proud Vietnam Veteran. He was an exceptionally supportive & loving husband, father & grandfather! Survivors include his wife Joan; his 2 daughters, Michelle Blanner of High Ridge, Missouri and Ginger (Jesse) Hoyer of High Ridge Missouri; 5 grandchildren Justin Blanner, Destiney Blanner, Jaden Blanner, Lindsey (Hoyer) Pyatt & Macey Hoyer; as well as many other relatives and friends including his beloved cousin George Schmid. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother Elmer Blanner. A time of gathering will be held on Sunday September 15, 2019 from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Jay B Smith Funeral Home in Fenton Missouri.
