Robert Donald Siebert Sr. (92) passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on May 26th, 2024. Don was born and raised in University City, where he started playing golf at the age of fifteen at Ruth Park. He continued playing there the rest of his life never quite conquering the fifth hole. He stayed lifelong friends with Clayton Loyd, who was his neighbor, and Roy Martin, a grade school friend. He served in the National Guard for 10 years. In 1961 he met his bride, Colena, when he joined the collegians choir at church. The choir sang at many venues around St. Louis including the Muny. Two years later they were married. They raised their four children in the Maplewood, Richmond Heights community. Don loved to travel and took his family to the 48 contiguous states and even out of the country a few times. Don worked and retired from NCR after 42 years. After retirement he continued to see coworkers for lunch once a month, taking turns hosting lunch. He also played golf more with his friends Gordan Johnson and Bob Tibbles of course back at Ruth Park. Don is survived by his bride of 60 years, Colena May Siebert. His children: Karen Siebert Burke, Robert Donald Siebert Jr. (Debbie), Sandy Siebert, and Stephen Siebert (Kris Karwokoski-Siebert). He had 6 grandchildren: Kayla Burke, Mindy Siebert Kittleman (Nathan), Robert Donald Siebert III, Zachary Siebert, Madisyn Siebert, and Eliza Siebert. He had one great grandchild, Ellie Kittleman. And of course, his beloved dog Heidi. In lieu of flowers please donate to either the MS society or the RA society in Dons name. Dons Memorial will be Tuesday June 11th, 2024, From 5-8 at Jay B.
