Robert "Bob" Boedy, a beloved husband, brother, father, and grandfather passed away at the age of 84 on Sunday, November 24. He was born February 8, 1940, to Robert and Ethel Boedy in Leasburg, Missouri. Bob was known for his love of dogs, fishing, camping, and all things outdoors. He married Jean Hill on June 18, 1960, and they shared 64 years of marriage together. He is survived by his wife Jean Boedy, his sons Dan (Anita), Tim (Robin), Scott (Rose) Boedy, his grandchildren Jacob (Marissa), Ashtyn, Nick, Adam, Macy, Ella, Brendan, Brady Boedy, and his great-grandchildren Deegan and Daxtin O'Halloran. He was preceded in death by Robert and Ethel Boedy, Shirley Boedy (sister), and Clarence Boedy (brother). A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024, at Jay B. Smith Funeral Home Fenton Chapel (777 Oakwood Dr, Fenton, MO), with visitation from 2 to 3 pm. A service will be held starting at 3 pm.
