Boyer, Richard of Fenton, age 87, passed away on August 9, 2024. He was born in Evanston, IL to the late John and Gertrude Boyer. He was preceded in death by his wife Georgia Boyer, a brother John L.Boyer (Carol) and a sister Irene Trestik (Robert). He is survived by a sister Carol Carter (Walter), three granddaughters, and many nieces, nephews and friends. He worked for many years for Brown Shoe Company and Mel Bay Publications and retired from Mel Bay. He enjoyed his retirement years fishing,relaxing and entertaining family and friends with his elaborate Model Train displays. Dear uncle, great-uncle and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Burial will be in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
