Paula Ann Fannon, RN, 59, went with the angels on Tuesday, June 14, 2022. Dear high school sweetheart and wife of 36 years to Mark A. Fannon, loving mother to children Andrew (Chelsea) Fannon, Steven Fannon, and Alison Fannon, cherished Gigi to Carson and Dean Roach (expected in August), and beloved sister to brothers Gary and Larry Krafft. Paula was born to parents Paul and Joyce Krafft in November of 1962 in Saint Louis, Missouri. She attended Southwest Highschool and went on to become a nurse, starting her career in 1980 as a Nurse Assistant before completing her LPN in 1984. She worked at Deaconess for many years before completing her RN at Chamberlain University College of Nursing. A devoted nurse, Paula served her community for 40 years. She is remembered by numerous colleagues from her time at Des Peres Hospital where she worked as Surgical Charge Nurse, touching the lives of many. To those that had the privilege of knowing her, she was a beautiful soul who was special to everyone she met. She will be missed dearly. Paula is preceded in death by parents Paul and Joyce Krafft and brothers Craig and Lynn Krafft. Please join us in celebrating the life of this amazing wife, mother, Gigi, mother-in-law, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, niece, cousin, nurse and friend to many. Visitation to take place Sunday, June 19th, 2022 between 3:00 and 8:00. Funeral service to be held Monday, June 20th, 2022 between 11:00 and 1:00, formal service to begin at 1:00. Visitation and Services to be held at Jay B. Smith Funeral Home. 7456 Manchester Road, Maplewood, MO 63143. Following services, Paula will be carried to her final resting place at Sunset Memorial Park.
