Paul Theodore Yourtee, 68, was born on June 4, 1953, and went to be with the Lord on July 22, 2021. Paul lived in Maplewood, MO, for most of his life. Paul was crazy about Dawn, his wife and best friend of almost 45 years. He loved and treasured his daughters Becky Cornwell and Joy Gibson; his son-in-laws Matt and Richard; and his grandchildren Isaiah, Zachary, Phoebe, and Abigail. Paul also deeply cared for his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Sheryl and Terry Krato, dear cousins, nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and many friends. Paul didn't know a stranger and was known for striking up a conversations with people wherever he went! Paul loved St. Louis. He knew his way around every part of town both from working as a route driver for Dolly Madison and Hostess and from showing the family new "shortcuts" to get somewhere faster. He loved to engage in shared discussions with others about God, politics, and any kind of sport! He never shied away from talking about things that really mattered, and he never gave up on his idea of what his community and country could be. He was passionate about helping others with their finances, and he was a man of integrity. Paul was a devoted PawPaw and loved spending time with his family. His laughter, his singing, and his voice could easily fill a room, and no one loved a good silly song parody quite like Paul. Paul Yourtee will be greatly missed by many, but his family takes comfort in knowing he is loudly singing in the presence of Jesus until we meet again. Visitation will be held at The Journey-Hanley Road at 829 N. Hanley Rd, St. Louis, MO 63130 on Sunday August 1, 2021 from 2pm-5pm. Celebration of Life service immediately following at 5pm. *****MASK NOT OPTIONAL***MASK REQUIRED******* In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to one of these organizations that were important to Paul: North County Christian School St. Louis Area Food Bank The Journey-Hanley Road
