Paul Kenneth Mathias Sr., 85 years of age, died Wednesday, January 1, 2025, surrounded by family in Fenton Missouri. Paul was born on February 14, 1939 in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania the son of Willbur and Dessa Mathias. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers Wilbur Mathias and Jack Mathias, a sister Virginia (Sissy) Weyant, a grandson Mathew Mathias, and a nephew Wilbur (Willy) Mathias. He served four years in the United States Airforce and then went to work for Maritz Inc. in St. Louis, Missouri. He married Patsy Jean Reynolds November 23, 1961 in Jackson, MO. They resided in Fenton, MO and were blessed with two children, Ken and Allen. He enjoyed supporting his local sports teams; Cardinal baseball, Cardinal football, and Rams football. He enjoyed spending time with his boys as they were growing up. He coached little baseball for many years. He loved to fish and spent several days on a lake or pond fishing with his sons. Once he was blessed with grandkids he too spent as much time with them as he could. He went to their sporting events, school programs, and loved teaching them how to fish. He is survived by wife Patsy Mathias, two sons Ken Mathias (wife Carol) and Allen Mathias (wife Connie), 3 granddaughters Amy Streb (husband Charlie), Jaimi Ramsey (husband Alex), Sarah Downey (husband Michael), two grandsons, Michael Faust (wife Cami), and Kyle Mathias, four great granddaughters Olive Ramsey, Autumn Ramsey, Kaci Streb, and Remi Streb, two great grandsons, Brady Streb and Holden Downey.
