Patricia Jean "Pat" (nee James) Perkins, 81, of Herculaneum, Passed away April 29th 2017 at St. Anthony's Medical Center. She was born May 19th, 1935 in Vienna Mo to the late Elbert and Belva James. She was the mother of: Dale (Rhonda) James (Cortez, FL), Dawn (Kevin) Steinmeyer (Imperial, MO), Shawn (Kim) Perkins (Newnan, GA). She was sister to: Faye (Roger) Peterson (Union, MO), Bill (Donna) James (Cedar Hill, MO), Galen James (Fenton, MO), Jesse James (Niles, IL), Keith (Anna) James (Woodward, OK), Debbie (Bob) Beckmann (Villa Ridge, MO) and sister-in-law to: Lisa James (Cedar Hill, MO). Proceeded in death by: brothers Alvin and Rick James, sister and brother-in-law Bertie (Jim) Mullins, and sister-in-law Nancy James. She was grandmother to: Amy and Austin James, Alyssa, Elijah, Ethan, and Mikayla Perkins, Cody and Travis Steinmeyer, and Cary and Lauren Armbruster. She had many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. Pat spent most of her younger life living in Fenton Mo, along the river road which is now where Fenton park is located. She was the oldest of ten children who were affectionately called the "James Gang". Early in life she enjoyed dancing, bowling and spending time with family and friends. Pat worked as a waitress for many years and also for MEAAA where she was able to work for the Jefferson County Courts, Dunklin R-5 School District, Mastodon State Park, and Goodwill. She also worked for Walmart in Festus. Pat was also a very outgoing and usually a very outspoken person. She loved to meet new people and talk with anyone she met. She loved her children and grandchildren and always talked about their accomplishments. She enjoyed going out with her siblings most Saturday nights for dinner and later in life playing bingo with her fellow residents at Autumn Ridge. She loved to watch Cardinal baseball and rarely missed watching a game. Pat was also known for having a t-shirt for every occasion. No matter where she worked or where she was, she always made a friend. Pat will be missed greatly by everyone who knew her and loved her.
