Nikolai Edward Rock, age 30, was born in St. Petersburg, Russia on 23 February, 1995. He was adopted by Edward and Linda Rock in March of 1996 and brought to his home in Saint Louis where he lived until his passing.

He is survived by his Father, Edward (Donna C.), Aunts Margaret Koebbe (Terry), Sarah Gould (Tom), Uncle David Rock and Cousins Randy Sheridan (Megan), Michael Koebbe (Emille), and Billy Rock. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Linda, his Grandparents, Ed and Joy Rock, Mike and Katja Buckley, and his Aunt, Kathleen Rock.

Nikolai was an exceptional artist, who loved to cook, especially desserts, and quite the adventurer when he put his mind to it. He explored Russia, his place of birth, and lived there for several months before returning home. He was a gentle soul. He will be sorely missed by those of us he left behind but we take comfort in knowing that he is at peace with those that preceded him.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, from 10-10:30AM at Jay B. Smith Funeral Home in Maplewood with a Funeral Service beginning at 10:30AM. Burial will follow in Bellerive Gardens Cemetery, under the direction of Jay B. Smith Funeral Home of Maplewood.
