Michele Erickson, 81, passed away on July 7, 2025. Michele was born in St. Louis, Missouri, to Monte and Willa Montague. Michelle married Wayne Erickson of Rock Hill, Missouri on December 1, 1995, at Washington Park Fellowship in Webster Groves, Missouri. Her death was preceded by her loving parents. She is survived by her adoring husband, Wayne Erickson; her son, Colin Hartnett; and daughter, Ilona Kinsella; her grandchildren, Marin Kinsella, Caleb Wagner and Gabriel Wagner, will remember their Nonie fondly. Her great grandchildren included Oliver and Felix Bierman; Wayne's family included Carrington Dehart (husband Dennis) and children Mason and Kinley; Alaina Wiemer (husband Rodney) and sons August and Mack; son Andrew (wife Robyn) and daughters Josephine and Linnea. Michelle was a longtime member of Henry Shaw Cactus and Succulent Society through the Missouri Botanical Garden. She was passionate about flowers and cacti and enjoyed spending time in her beautiful garden. She was also a very devoted Christian and loved her community at Evangel Temple in Maplewood. Michelle was a wonderful mother and grandmother whose passion for life will be greatly missed. She was a one-of-a-kind woman who had an outgoing, beautiful and funny personality. Her smile lit up a room and her beauty was undeniable. She will forever live in the hearts of the ones she loved. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, from 10:00-11:00AM at Jay B. Smith Funeral Home in Maplewood. Funeral services will begin at 11:00AM, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Jay B. Smith Funeral Home.
