Michael Anthony Schaefer, 30, passed away April 27, 2018. Michael was born on April 19, 1988 in Saint Louis, Missouri. Michael grew up in Pacific, Missouri and graduated from Pacific High School in 2007. Michael is survived by his father, Stephen Wayne Schaefer, step-mother, Christina Louise (Droney) Schaefer, birth mother, Susan Gail Rodgers, brother, Thomas Edward, sister, Abigail Grace, nieces Harmony Star and Charlotte Mae Schaefer, paternal grandparents, Robert Edward and Doris Ann (Baker) Schaefer, in addition to aunts, uncles, cousins, many friends and other relatives. Michael was a kind and gentle soul. He was very outgoing and made friends everywhere he went. His family and friends were a treasure to him and he was always there when needed. He was a huge fan of hockey and the St. Louis Blues, growing out his beard during the playoffs. Michael was very artistic and took pride in creating his own style of t-shirts and hats. Michael enjoyed working out and lifting weights. He enjoyed all sports, playing soccer, baseball, and roller hockey. Michael will truly be missed by those who knew him.
