Mary Barbier (nee Johnson) Beloved Ex-Wife of the late Glennon - Barbier Sr. Dear Daughter of Thomas E. & Elsie Martin of St. Louis, MO Loving Mother of Deborah (Scott) Holmes, Michele (Steve) Emmons, Joseph (Donna) Barbier, the late Jon and Jeffery Barbier. Cherished Grandmother of 12 and Great Grandmother of 12 Mary was a Mother-In-Law, Aunt, Great-Aunt, Friend Mary Barbier, born Saturday July 28th, 1928 in St. Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully the morning of Tuesday May 11, 2021 at the age of 92. Mary graduated from Maplewood - Richmond Heights High School in 1946. After, she worked for 39 years at St. Mary's Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Mary was a lifelong member of St. Luke's Catholic Parish in St. Louis and coached the first ever girls soccer team for the parish in 1974. In her free time, Mary enjoyed bird watching, gardening, jewelry making, and knitting. Visitation will be held at Jay B. Smith Funeral Home in Maplewood, MO on Friday May 14, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. Following the visitation, a private burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery.
