Obituary

Marvin Schwieger, 76, passed away on May 19 , 2024, in Creve Coeur, Missouri. Marvin Schwieger was a man of great love and integrity, attributes which drew many into his large circle of friends and loved ones. He was greatly respected in the St Louis area construction community where he was involved for over 50 years. He found pleasure and satisfaction being able to serve in Christian Motorcyclists Association (CMA) where he held leadership positions, and learned to really love the whole "biker" community. He also took a leadership role in heading up a couple of very successful Bikers for Babies Rides, through which local bikers raised funds for March of Dimes. Marvin loved fishing, and spent many hours...days.....WEEKS in his boat seeking and catching countless innocent bass and enjoying the company of family and friends. Above all, Marvin lived his life for God, and for his family who somewhat reluctantly allowed him to leave and go hug family and friends who have gone before, and to check out heaven's peaceful ponds. Marvin peacefully and painlessly left behind his most loved "possession," his large and heartbroken family: Wife of 58 years Jill Rutter Schwieger, Daughters Linda Schwieger (and Hank Falkenberg), Jackie Schwieger Adams, Lissa Schwieger. Grandchildren: Kayla Schwieger (and Jason Linden), Hannah Dillon (and Jesse Benson), Holly Dillon, Connor Schwieger, Sydney Adams. Great grandchildren: Heidi Elizabeth Benson, Cooper Lee Benson, Dean River Dillon-Neely, and Willow Rose Dillon-Neely. I have shared some of the great parts of Marvin, but there is another side, known best by his "Little Brother" Kenneth Schwieger who grew up right behind him...oh, the stories! Marvin was also quite sad to move on without his "Brothers from Other Mothers," Bob Kedler (Corvette Brother who got him hooked), and CMA Brothers Bud Metzler, Ray Ward, Jimmy Waters and Joey French (all of whom taught Marvin that he could love Jesus AND his Harley!) If your name is not here don't fret. Marvin still carries it with him in his big ole' heart. Thank you for being a friend!
