Obituary

Martin Anthony Eidel, 87, of Fenton, passed away on January 8, 2026. He was born on February 4, 1938, in Saint Louis, to Martin and Ann Eidel.

Martin loved all sports, especially playing golf and was an avid sportsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He was a proud Teamster Driver with Grey Eagle, retiring in his mid-50s and enjoying a lengthy retirement.

Martin is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Gerry Eidel; three children, Kelly Fultineer (Michael), Keith Eidel (Regina), and Kirk Eidel; four grandchildren, Courtney Maue (Aaron), Anna Weinrich (Nick), Tyler Eidel (Caroline) and Blake Eidel; one great grandchild, Logan Maue; and two sisters, Charlotte Jung and Kay Nuelle (Rich).

A memorial visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30am on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Fenton with a Memorial Mass beginning at 10:30am. A Celebration of Life will follow the mass at Andre's-Sunset Hills (13366 W Watson Rd).

In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to St. Vincent de Paul of Fenton or American Diabetes Association.
