Lois Emilie Brunkhorst (nee Moeller) asleep in the arms of Jesus on July 13, 2024. Dear daughter of the late Carol D. and the late Flora E Moeller (nee Kipp). Dear wife of the late William Brunkhorst. Dear mother of Bill Brunkhorst (Martha), Sue Linenberger, the late Sally Brunkhorst, John Brunkhorst (Chong) and Sandra Brunkhorst. Dear grandmother of Megan Schuette, Eric Linenberger, Ryan Brunkhorst (Karen), Zachary Brunkhorst, Jennifer Brunkhorst (Sol Lee) and Adam Brunkhorst. Dear great-grandmother of Kate Shrout and Ben Brunkhorst. Dear sister of Nora Darnstaedt, Alice Hollmann, the late Miriam Bock, Daniel Moeller, Doris Decker and the late Paul Moeller. Lois was born on July 22, 1933 and raised in Chester, Illinois. She was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran Church. She moved to St. Louis, Missouri prior to her marriage to William. Her unwavering Christian faith guided and sustained her in all that she did. Her selfless character was a blessing to her family and friends. Lois loved spending time and traveling with family members. Later in life, trips with her sisters brought her great joy. She was never afraid to tackle any DIY project. A public graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Laurel Hills Memorial Gardens, 2000 Pennsylvania Avenue, St. Louis, Missouri 63133.
