In Loving Memory of Leo Leo was born and raised in Odessa, Ukraine, to a loving Jewish family. A gifted violinist, his music was as remarkable as his sharp intellect. He excelled in academics, earning straight As in electrical engineering from a prestigious university, and began his career in Odessa before making the courageous decision to immigrate to the United States on his own in search of new opportunities. Though life in a new country brought challenges, Leo's resilience and strength carried him forward. It was here that he met Paula, the love of his life. Their devotion to one another was unshakable, a love that lasted a lifetime and inspired everyone around them. Leo's friends were an important part of his life. He had a unique way of making those around him feel valued and appreciated. His thoughtfulness, humor, quick wit, and unflappable calm in any situation endeared him to all who knew him. Many of his friends fondly remember the time he shared his love of Hawaii, showing them its beauty and creating cherished memories.
