Lauren Stack, age 41, passed away suddenly on June 23, 2025, while making a remarkable recovery from heart surgery. Her unexpected passing leaves a deep ache in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Lauren was the beloved wife of Jacob Stack and a devoted mother to her two children, Seth and Summer Stack. She lived life with passion and purpose, whether she was cheering from the sidelines at school events, working tirelessly to achieve her goals, or savoring quiet moments snuggled on the couch with her husband. A lifelong lover of beach getaways, Lauren embraced physical challenges and constantly pushed her own boundaries. She was pursuing her college degree and had just begun building her own business, a testament to her grit and unstoppable spirit. Lauren was unwavering in her values. She stood for what was right, never cutting corners, and leading with strength both inside and out. She is survived by her children Seth and Summer; her husband Jacob; her mother Polly Nahm; her sister Tabitha Massey; her brother Caleb Nahm; and her father-in-law Ken Howard. Her life and legacy will continue to inspire everyone fortunate enough to have known her. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Butterfly House, a place dear to Lauren and Jacob, where they were married and created lasting memories together. https://secure.missouribotanicalgarden.org/donate/i/tribute
