Kathleen Suzanne Winning, 81, of Saint Louis, MO passed away peacefully at DePaul Hospital on June 5, 2026. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, and her presence will be deeply missed.Kay was born in Maplewood, MO on October 4, 1944 to Charles and Helen Creighton. In her youth she was a member of the Eastern Star and the Rainbow Girls. She dedicated her life to her family and friends and loved spending time with the friends she made at MOHELA and her group the REDHAT Divas. Her infectious laughter and loving spirit brightened the lives of all who knew her and she made friends with everyone she met.Kay is survived by her two sons Chuck Winning of Saint Louis, MO;and Robert Winning of Lenexa, KS; her beloved grandchildren, Aidan,Haley, Evan, and Connor. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 57 years, Robert Edwin Winning whom she met and fell in love with in High School.Kay will be interred at Jefferson Barracks Cemetery on Friday the 19th and a memorial in celebration of Kay's life will be held at her church Webster Groves Presbyterian 45 W. Lockwood on June 20th, 2026, at 10 a.m. The family invites all who knew her to attend and share their favorite memories. A gathering at her favorite restaurant Llewelyn'sPub in Webster will take place after the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Kay'smemory to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or to the Alzheimer's Association.
