Julius J. Patrick Jr. Surrounded by family on October 25, 2021 Beloved Husband of the late Mary E. Patrick (nee McGuire) Dear Son of the late Julius and Lottie Patrick Loving Father of Pam, Debra and Jim Cherished Grandfather of Jacob Spink and Zachary Spink and Bonus Grandfather of Dana (Matt) Tod, Danny (Lauren) Spink and Ray Spink Jr. Dear Brother of Jimmy (Shirley) Patrick, Stanley (Helen) Patrick, Henry Patrick, Donald (Ester) Patrick, Rosalie Caulley, Virginia Patrick, Shirley DeClue, Barbara (Don) Dwyer, Veronica (Jack) Wolf, Katie (Dan) Clauser and Gloria (Gene) Goebel Julius was a Son-In-Law, Brother-In-Law, Uncle and Friend Dad proudly served in the United States Army but was so dedicated to his family, he never took leave so that he could get back home earlier (only by a few months) to his Patrick siblings. Dad loved to tinker. He collected scrap metal and aluminum almost to the extreme. He loved to see just how much "play" money he would wind up with, although he never used it to play with. Some how, for whatever reason, he would make sure his kids were the ones who benefited from his little side hobby. The most he would use it for was a dinner for him and mom or for them to splurge at a thrift store. I think what brought him the most joy from this side hobby was the fact he got to listen to his music that he loved so much. You could always tell when a favorite was playing, he would always do a little chair dance as he sat stripping the plastic from the wire he would be turning in. Dad was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all. Julius will receive Full Military Honors at Jefferson Barracks
