Judith Ann (Judy) McLaughlin passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at age 85 at her home in Webster Groves, MO. Judy was born on October 23, 1939, in Canton, Ohio to Clement and Evalyn Fry, and she married Charles B. (Barry) McLaughlin on June 20, 1964, in Ravenna, Ohio. She and Barry lived in St. Louis, Missouri where Judy thrived as a Nurse while they raised 4 children together. Barry preceded Judy in death in 2007. Judy is survived by her children Tim (Patty) McLaughlin, Anne (Steve) Wiersch, Tom (Sue) McLaughlin, and Dan (Carrie) McLaughlin, her 9 grandchildren Nicholas Wiersch, Kelly (Alex) Jokerst, Danny, Jimmy, Brendan, Meghan, Barrett, Liam and Connor McLaughlin, her brother Bill (Barbara) Fry, and was a great sister-in-law, aunt and friend to many. Judy loved helping others thru her work as a registered nurse at St. Mary's hospital and through her involvement with the Catholic Church. Her passions included being a voracious reader, traveling internationally, music (great piano player) and all things St. Louis Cardinals. Services: Visitation Friday, March 14, 2025, from 4-8pm at the Jay B. Smith Funeral Home at 7456 Manchester Rd in Maplewood, MO. Funeral Mass on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 10am at Immaculate Conception Parish 2934 Marshall Avenue in Maplewood, MO, with Internment at Resurrection Cemetery following the mass.
