King A mom who loved as hard as she could A wife who stood by her man A grandma who was THE best shell fairy and face tickler A mother in law who loved with an open heart and reveled in her Cardinal/Cubs rivalry A friend who enjoyed a good laugh and lending an ear A warrior who challenged cancer and fought fiercely for her life Judith (Judy) L. McCoy, age 73 of Saint Louis, Missouri passed away at 8:50AM on Thursday, April 2, 2020 at the home she shared with her husband, Dennis H. McCoy. We will be celebrating her life on Sunday, July 5, 2020 at Jay B. Smith Funeral Home in Maplewood, MO. The celebration of Judy will be from 10AM - 2PM Sunday. Judy was born August 29, 1947 in Moberly, Missouri. She is survived by her husband of thirty years, Dennis McCoy; her brother Dale Goode; her three children, Austin (Catherine) Richards, Amy (Ashley) Richards, and Melissa (Timothy) Barnes; and her seven grandchildren, Dan (Robbie) Fogarty-Hayden, Trudy (Joseph) Fogarty-O'Fallon, Madison Richards, Halei, Hanna, Harrison, and Victoria Barnes. Judy is preceded in death by her father and mother, Robert Dale and Bette Goode. Judy retired from the United States Bankruptcy Courts in Saint Louis, Missouri after thirty years of service. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with her children and grandchildren, watching classic movies, and cheering on her favorite baseball team, the St. Louis Cardinals.
