Joan Elizabeth Worthington, 90, of St. Louis, passed away on December 18, 2025. She was born on April 6, 1935, in St. Louis. She was married to Edward S. Worthington III, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by three sons, Stephen E. Worthington (Sandra), Joseph M. Worthington (Brenda), and Robert A. Worthington (Joyce); grandchildren, Matthew, Kelly, Jennifer, Marcy, Alisa, and Haley; great grandchildren, Lacey, Abel, Kaylie, Kenzie, Ava, Vinnie, and Violet; sister, Virginia Rafferty. She was loved and treated like a mother by the Langhammer, Rafferty and Maloney nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

In keeping with her wishes, a graveside service will be held on December 29, 2025, at 2:00PM at Mount Hope Cemetery. Those who wish to attend may meet in the back parking lot at 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd at 1:45PM and we will be escorted to the graveside for the funeral.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
