Jewel Ann Wanner, born March 29, 1929, was the daughter of proud parents, the late Lillie and Esker Watson. She enjoyed a happy childhood while growing up in rural Missouri. She was joined in marriage to John Earl Wanner on April 26, 1951. They were blessed with seven children. Kay Gossett ( Bill,deceased ) David Montgomery (deceased). Dr. William Wanner (Valerie), Diana Hickman (Eddie,deceased), Dee Bloss (Mike, deceased), John Wanner Jr. (Valerie), and Debbie Wanner (Jimmy Carpenter). Jewel peacefully departed this life on August 21, 2021. She was preceded in death by her son David Montgomery and grandsons Joey Fuqua, Michael Bloss, and Jason Wanner. She is beloved and greatly missed by her grandchildren, Jewel Wheelis, Dawn Wyman, Sandy Manis, Mike Fuqua, Billy Gossett, Johnnie Ray Peeler, Kim Adams, Eddie Hickman, Kelley Crockett, Christopher Wanner, Nicole Wanner, Natalie Steinhoff, Brian Wanner, as well as twenty-five great-grandchildren and twenty-one great-great-grandchildren. Jewel was a talented artist, great seamstress, and adventurous woman, well into her senior years. She loved going to haunted houses and riding terrifying amusement park rides. She enjoyed bowling with her league and watching Horror Movies, but most of all, she loved shopping with her daughters and granddaughter. Jewel had a kind and tender gentleness that touched all that she met. We will remember her sparkling blue eyes and beautiful smile, and cherish her memory forever.
