Janet Farrar (nee Slade) went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, October 15, 2019. She was born on December 2, 1941 in Davisville, MO to daughter of the late Thomas Slade and Fannie Wilkenson. Beloved wife of 50 years to the late Larry Eugene Farrar, Sr. Wonderful and devoted mother of Larry Eugene (Lisa) Farrar, Jr and Annette Kay (Tim) Renwick. Cherished and fun loving grandmother of Kathryn (Christopher) Abraham, Betsy (Shylar Adams) Farrar, Olivia (Samuel) Pitsch, Austin Renwick, Kylie Renwick, great-grandmother of Penelope and Rosalie Abraham, Leland and Frederick Pitsch. Dear sister of Thomas Slade, Betty Neely, Earlyne Seaver, Homer Slade, Jean Setzer, JoAnn Gahr, Harold Slade, Joe Slade, John Slade and her twin Janis Shrum. Janet was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Arnold. She was a true Christian; she loved Jesus with all her heart and everyone around her. A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 25th from 4-6:00pm at Jay B. Smith Funeral Home, 777 Oakwood Dr., Fenton MO. With a memorial service immediately following at 6:00pm. Memorial to the Alzheimer's Association would be greatly appreciated.
