IN LOVING MEMORY OF
James Donald
Naff
January 18, 1966 – December 8, 2025
James "Jim" Donald Naff Jr., born January 18, 1966, passed away on December 8, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and genuine connection.
Jim lived a life filled with music, stories, and the people he loved. A devoted fan of classic rock, he found joy in live concerts and was especially fond of George Thorogood and John Fogerty. Music was one of the many ways Jim stayed connected to the world; always tapping his foot, singing along, or sharing a favorite song with someone nearby.
For more than 30 years, Jim dedicated his life to nursing, serving primarily in nursing homes where his gentle spirit and compassionate heart made a profound difference. As an RN, he was known for treating every resident with dignity and warmth, offering comfort not just through his clinical skill, but through his presence.
Jim cherished time spent with friends and looked forward to his bi-weekly Dungeons & Dragons gatherings, where adventures, laughter, and years-long friendships were forged around the table. He also loved football - college and pro alike - though never quite brought himself to cheer for the Chiefs.
He is survived by his father, James Naff Sr.; his companion, Paulette Parks, whom he loved deeply; his children, Holly (Naff) Hupert and Matthew Naff; his sister, Sheri Cordingley; and a very large extended family.
Jim will be remembered for his gentle soul, his warm smile, and the unmistakable laugh that will echo forever in the memories of those who loved him. His life was a testament to compassion, friendship, and the beauty of being authentically oneself.
Above all, Jim was a loving father, brother, and friend. He never met a stranger and had a way of offering kindness effortlessly, touching countless lives with his open heart.
He will be deeply missed
