Jacquelynn Lee Wood, 88 went with the angels on Saturday, June 4, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Bill A. Wood. Loving mother of Rebecca (Dick Vogt) Ketzner, Patricia (Harold Etzel) Shepard and Judith (Mark) Vonder Haar. Cherished grandmother of 6, great-grandmother of 17 and great-great-grandmother of 5 and 3 on the way. Dear niece, godmother, cousin and friend. Jackie and Bill were married on August 2, 1952. They were together for 52 years until his passing on March 30, 2005. She was known by Bill, the love of her life, as "My Biggest Kid" who always wore rose colored glasses. Jackie was best known to many as "Grammy." She enjoyed a glass of wine and loved to play games with her children and grandchildren. She really preferred to be on the -Winning Team--. Jackie was a hard worker and held many positions outside of the home. In her life she has been a restaurant owner, a caterer and was a Dierbergs employee for many years. Family will always treasure wonderful memories of vacations and large holiday meals together. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 10:00am to 1:00pm at Jay B. Smith Funeral Home, 777 Oakwood Dr., Fenton, MO. Service is immediately following at 1:00pm. Interment on Thursday, June 9, 2022. Meet at funeral home at 10:00am to leave for cemetery. 12:00pm arrival at Lower Indian Creek Cemetery, Courtois MO In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Stroke Association or the Humane Society preferred.
