Obituary

Jack C. Wilkinson Sr., 88, of Fenton died Sept. 12, 2019, in Fenton. Mr. Wilkinson was a bricklayer with the Bricklayers Union Local No. 1 since 1948. He was a member of the St. Paul Catholic Church in Fenton and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Born March 24, 1931, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Marie (nee Raisch) Wilkinson. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years: Jane (nee Metzger) Wilkinson. He is survived by three children: Gayle Pulliam of Fenton; Elizabeth (Kenneth) Krafve of House Springs and Jack (Sandy) Wilkinson Jr. of House Springs; a sister: Judi Briesacher of St. Louis; five grandchildren: Luke Pulliam of St. Louis, Jake Krafve of Eureka, Lindsey Krafve of St. Louis, Ryan Wilkinson of House Springs and Adam Wilkinson of St. Louis; three great-grandchildren: Kai, Andi and Kora Krafve; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son: Steven; two siblings: Don Wilkinson and Caryl Rickard; and a son-in-law: Stephen Pulliam. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11:30 Tuesday, Sept. 17, at Jay B. Smith Funeral Home, 777 Oakwood Drive, in Fenton. Funeral service will follow at St. Paul Catholic Church, 15 Forest Knoll Drive, in Fenton. Burial will be at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery in St. Louis. Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
