Loving father of Sandra (the late William) Steinlage of Ballwin, MO, Donna (Achim) Sauer of High Ridge, MO, Lora (LeGrand) Petty of Washington, MO, Kathryn (Robert) Ryals of House Springs, MO. Cherished grandfather of Tracy, William Jr., Michael, Margaret, Jacob, Adrienne, Rich, Bryan, Amanda and Zachary. Great-grandfather of Claire, Haley, Madison, Anna, Ariana, Maxwell Howard, Aiden, Elliott, Margaret, Audrey and one on the way. Dear brother of Daisy Carpenter, Donna Talarski, the late Frieda Skaggs, Paul Street, Leroy Street and Clyde Street. Our dear father-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend. Howard was a member of the Contentment group for over 30 years. He served his country overseas during the Korean Conflict . He continued to serve his country after his full time enlistment had ended in the reserves from 1955 to 1982. During his time in the service, he earned the National Defense Service Medal; Korean Service Medal and the United Nations Service Medial.
