Henry Joseph DeNoon
September 21, 1948 - October 15, 2026

Henry Joseph DeNoon was born at home in Overland, Missouri, on September 21, 1948, to IraDeNoon and Berneva DeNoon-Wilson. He was called home to be with the Lord on October 15, 2026,at the age of 78, leaving a family who will forever cherish his strength, kindness, and love.

Henry began his career as a carpenter shortly after graduating from high school in 1967. He was later drafted during the Vietnam War and served his country for two years as a radio operator. After returning home in 1970, he proposed to Sherry on October 31. They married on May 1, 1971, at First Baptist Church of Fenton. Together, they shared 55 years of marriage and raised three daughters.

This year, Henry received his 50-year pin from the Carpenters' Union, a milestone in a lifetime of hard work and craftsmanship. He built his life with his hands-and what hands they were. If you ever shook his hand, you remembered it.

Henry loved hunting and sharing his joy for the outdoors with his family and friends. If you needed help, he was there, whether you asked or not. Through the way he lived and cared for others, he set a high standard for his family to follow. To his daughters, he was the best Daddy they could have asked for.

Henry is survived by his wife, Sherry DeNoon; his daughters, Stacy Nash (Brad), Teresa DeNoon, and Tamra Kohl (Joe); his grandchildren, Trevor Nash, Ashley DeBonnaire, Todd DeBonnaire,Henry Dillon, and Braelyn Haynes; and his great-grandchild, Blake DeBonnaire. He also leaves his brothers, Bill DeNoon, John DeNoon, and Gary Wilson; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Vernonand Sharon Parker; and a multitude of nieces and nephews.

He was welcomed into Heaven by his father, Ira DeNoon; his mother, Berneva DeNoon-Wilson; his stepfather, Dale Wilson; his brothers, Tom DeNoon and James DeNoon; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harry and Betty Parker.

Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church of Fenton, 650 Oakwood Drive, Fenton, MO 63026, on October 27, 2026, from 4-8 p.m., and October 28, 2026, from 10-11 a.m. The funeral service will follow at the church at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 1:30p.m.
