It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather Harry Paul Purvis, age 82, of Fenton, Missouri. Paul went to be with Jesus on September 4th, 2024. Paul was born on April 7, 1942, to Ernest and Evelyn (Quirk) Purvis in Hannibal, Missouri. After graduation, Paul moved to St. Louis, Missouri. Paul was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Evelyn (Quirk) Purvis. He is survived by his wife, Lynn (Smith), his children Kelly (Joe) and April (Chris), his granddaughters Kayla, Savannah, and Everly, his brother Buddy (Linda), and his many nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held Thursday, September 12th from 4-7 PM at Jay B. Smith Funeral Home in Fenton, MO. Funeral service will take place on Friday, September 13th at 9:15 AM at Jay B. Smith in Fenton followed by burial at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. The family welcomes donations to Circle of Concern or UMCOR as an expression of sympathy instead of flowers.
