Harry L. Parker, age 94, of Fenton went to his heavenly home on Saturday, July 6, 2019. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Betty (nee Davis) Parker; parents, Hershel and Rosa (nee Wolfe) Parker; brothers, Vernon, Lewis, Albert and Clyde Parker; sister, Mildred Jamerson; brother-in-law, Lowell Jamerson; sisters-in-law, Lucille (nee Harrelson) Parker and Jean (nee Hall) Parker. Harry is survived by his children, Sherry Parker DeNoon (Henry) and Vernon Parker (Sharon); grandchildren, Stacy DeNoon Nash (Brad), Teresa DeNoon, Tamra DeNoon DeBonnaire, Rachel Parker Pinto (Adam), Nathan Parker, Philip Parker (Sally); great-grandchildren, Trevor Nash, Braelyn Haynes, Ashley and Todd DeBonnaire, Henry Dillon, Sofia, Asher and Gabriella Pinto, June Parker; his brother Raymond Parker. Harry was a World War II veteran who proudly served in the U.S. Army from June 1943 to January 1946. He saw action in New Guinea, the Philippines and Okinawa and was part of the Occupational Forces in Japan. During his service he was awarded 3 Bronze Stars. Harry had been a member of Fenton Baptist Church since 1962. In 1987, Harry retired as a tool and die maker from TRW, Inc. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, playing Pinochle and meeting and talking with people he met through Parker's Small Engine Repair. Harry lived a long, full life and will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.
