Grady (Sam) Hall was born January 28th, 1934 in Pleasant Grove, Arkansas and passed away peacefully at AEGIS Health and Rehab in Wildwood, Missouri on 07/25/2025.
Sam was a Navy pilot shortly after the Korean War spending his last two years of service as a flight instructor training new pilots to operate twin engine aircraft.
He graduated from the University of Washington in 1959 and proceeded to teach in the Pleasant Grove community and in South St. Louis for 5 years. He was also employed as a case worker for Social Services for 16 years and finished his working career as a taxi driver in the St. Louis area for 8 years.
Sam was preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Ova Hall, his sister, Sara Gray, and a niece Joan Kater.
Sam is survived by his sister, Marie Hall of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, nephews Roger Gray and Lee Hall, and a niece, Katie Young.
Memorial services will be held at a later date in a scenic pasture near Rutherford Cemetery in Hogeye, Arkansas. There will be no graveside services.
