Grace Fidelis Rasmussen, age 81, passed away peacefully on Thursday afternoon, June 25th, 2020. She was born on October 29th, 1938 in St. Louis, Missouri. She was the 11th out of 13 children of Elliot and Mildred (Reynolds) Hughey. Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Richard P. Rasmussen; one daughter, Christine Rasmussen; one grandson, Andrew Rasmussen; and 11 siblings. She is survived by her loving sister and best friend Barb Byrne; eight children, Janice Johnson, Richard M. Rasmussen, Patrick (Kathy), Dave Rasmussen, Eric Rasmussen, Douglas (Donna) Rasmussen, Daniel ( Amanda) Rasmussen, Catherine (Matthew) Laufketter; thirteen grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed travel whether it was far away locations like Holland or road trips to nearby favorites like Hot Springs, Arkansas; but the best trips were to Bob's farm surrounded by family. She left behind a remarkable legacy full of love, light, and family; and will be missed greatly and cherished through many wonderful memories. Funeral service will be held 10am Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at St. Joseph's Church, 567 Saint Joseph Lane Manchester, Missouri 63021. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph's Parish Cemetery.
