Brockman, Glenda Mae (née Gibson) passed away January 23, 2014, in Omaha, Nebraska, at age 87. A graduate of Webster Groves High School, she worked in St. Louis, Kansas City and Decatur, Alabama. She was predeceased by her husband, Rev. Carl L. Brockman, and is survived by her son Gary Brockman (Wendy); her daughter Nancy Morefield; her grandchildren Meredith Underhill (Bryan), Timothy Morefield and Philip Morefield (Eleanor); and her great-granddaughter, Charlotte Underhill. She is also survived by nephews and their families who were an important part of her life, as well as beloved cousins and dear friends of many decades. Glenda was active for 30 years at First Baptist Church of Decatur, Alabama, teaching Sunday School to Single Adults for most of that time. Glenda also was an active member and officeholder of the Pilot Club of Decatur. Visitation Monday January 27th 10:00 AM-1:30 PM with a 1:30 PM service at Jay B.
